Posting for a new Assistant Professor of Graphic Media Management

The Graphic Media Management (GMAN) Program has a long and successful history of preparing graduates for print media production and management careers, project management, job engineering cost estimation and process improvement, workflow automation and more. The program is uniquely situated in the College of Business Marketing Department and addresses the importance of communication, community, and business context. The selected candidate must be able to teach multiple subject areas within all levels of the graphic communications (GCOM) and GMAN curriculum. Additionally, the selected candidate will excel in the areas of print production planning/engineering, cost estimating and analysis, the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of Heidelberg QM 46 presses, CTP, digital toner and inkjet printing, print cutting, folding and binding. Focus on student-centered learning, engage in a collaborative teaching environment, participate in the print media community, and stress the importance of self-discovery, peer learning, and collaboration within the classroom. This is a full-time position on the main campus in Big Rapids. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2024.
