Printing Scholarships

Graphic Media Management students at Ferris have been awarded an average of  $25,000. each year and most of the scholarships are renewable over four years.  All students are encouraged to apply for scholarships which can reduce your tuition and cost-of-living. Here is where you will find scholarships that are specific to the Printing and Imaging Technology programs. Whenever new opportunities become available, they will be posted here.


Harley Halsted Scholarship

Award amount varies annually [Not awardable for 10/11]

  • Full-time student enrolled in any degree program within the Printing & Imaging Technology Management Department.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Financial need is considered (as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid)
  • Must submit completed application

James H. Bolthouse Leadership Achievement Endowed Scholarship

Award amount varies annually

  • Full-time sophomore or junior enrolled in the Printing Management program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Financial need is considered (as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid)
  • Additional requirements: Demonstrated leadership and participation in campus and/or community organizations
  • Must submit completed application

Thomas F. Bingman Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Award amount varies annually

  • Full-time junior or senior majoring in the Printing & Digital Graphic Imaging Technology program
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Preference given to West Michigan geographic area
  • Must submit completed application

Thomas Scott Reuther Endowed Scholarship

Award amount varies annually

  • Full-time junior or senior in the Printing Management program
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Financial need may be considered (as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid)
  • Additional criteria: Minimum of one recommendation from faculty; written essay on Why did you choose graphic arts as a career and what are your plans after graduation?; demonstrated motivation and leadership within the program, campus and/or community.
